Description
This project aims to analyze patients' speech signals in terms of some specific sound properties,
and possibly to use them as early indicators to predict the onset of certain diseases: primarily within the context of
a typical healthcare event such as a doctor-patient encounter. This work is a further development of "Wired
Room", capable of capturing and extracting otherwise missed sources of information during healthcare
encounters that has the potential to improve both accuracy of diagnosis and the interpersonal aspect of the doctor
patient interaction, benefitting physician and patient alike.
